THE PARENT S’ OPINIONS TOWARD THE TEACHING AND THE LEARNING AT SATRI WAT RAKHANG SCHOOL,BANGKOK NOI DISTRICT, BAKGKOK

Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

 

                

               This thesis is of 2 objectives, namely : - (1) study the Parents’ Opinions to the learning and the teaching at Satri Wat Rakhang School, (2) to comparatively study the levels of the Parents’ Opinions to the learning and the teaching at Satri Wat Rakhang School, Bangkok Noi District, Bangkok. The data collection was done by using the questionnaire, and the statistical analysis for hypothesis testing, which consisted of Independent Samples, t-test, F-test (One-way ANOVA), and Fisher’s Least-Significant Difference (LSD) for paired comparison. The sample consists of 345 parents of Satri Wat Rakhang’s students

              From the study, it’s found that    

 

               1. Generally, most parents of Satri Wat Rakhang’s students were female, aged between 41 and 50, of the education lower than Bachelor’s degrees, the enterprise owner, of 21,000 Baht average monthly income, with the children studying in lower secondary school education.      

               2. with regards the parents’ to opinions level on education, it is generally found that the highest  level of  parents’  opinions on  educational consisted of student’s quality, teacher attention, educational management, and student’s activities respectively. The lowest average mean value was school environment.       

             3. The parents’ are of different opinions about the sex, the age, education level, at the secondary school with the important point in statistics of 0.05. Regarding the parents’ occupation and income, the parents’ are of the same opinions with the statistics point of 0.05
