Abstracts

                This objectives of this research were 1) To study the student’s satisfaction towards academic administration at secondary schools Phanomthuan district Kanchanaburi province,       2) To compare the level of student’s satisfaction towards academic administration at secondary schools Phanomthuan district Kanchanaburi province, and 3) To study the problems and obstacles and suggestions for academic administration improvement. The sample group was 270 high schools students. The data were analyzed through ANOVA, t-test, percentage, mean and standard deviation.

                        The Finding were follow :

1.       Students have satisfaction on academic administration of secondary schools in Phanomthuan district, Kanchanaburi province at high level. In six aspects, from the highest to the lowest, learning and teaching aspect and teaching materials and resources aspect respectively.

2.       The comparison of student’ satisfaction on academic administration of secondary schools in Phanomthuan district, Kanchanaburi province by gender, age, level and grades in not different.

3.        Problems in academic administration suggested by students are as follow.

1)      Curriculum aspect: The content is too difficult for students. Moreover, it is not modern.

2)      Learning and teaching aspect: The atmosphere and environment in school are not appropriate. Therefore, students are not happy to learn as it should be.

3)      Activity aspect: Students do not have an opportunity to do religious activities or exchange their ideas with friends and teachers.

4)      Learning materials and resources aspect: Schools provide materials and resources which are not up-to-date. As a result, students are not able to improve themselves.

5)      In-school Supervision aspect: Problems and obstacles are analyzed to help students learn but with some of students’ participation.

6)      Evaluation aspect: The evaluation is not fair, therefore, students are not able to develop their learning using geades.

4.       Solutions in academic administration suggested by students are as follow.

1)      Curriculum aspect: The curriculum should be adjusted accordingly to the current situation in order to meet students’ needs.

2)      Learning and teaching aspect: Schools need to provide enough personnel and improve learning atmosphere and environment. Moreover, students require integrated teaching.

3)      Activity aspect: It is essential for students to do activities which promote their confidence to express themselves.

4)      Learning materials and resources aspect: Schools need to increase materials and resources in order to meet the requirement. It is also necessary for teachers to use modern teaching techniques in order to improve students’ skills.

5)      In-school Supervision aspect: Students should have an opportunity to join in analyzing problems and obstacles of supervision.

6)      Evaluation aspect: Evaluation should be at standard to motivate students in improving their learning using their grades.
