An integation of Capacity of Moral Teaching Monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary Schools in Nakhon Sawan Province.

Abstract

 The objectives of the research were: 1) to study the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province by personal factors. 2) to compare the opinion of the administrators and teachers towards the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province, and 3) to study the suggestions for the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province. The sample of the research consisted of 326 administrators and teachers at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province. The tools of the research were the questionnaire. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistics used Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, F-test with One-Way ANOVA Least Significant Difference: LSD. Qualitative Research and Content Analysis Tecniqes

Results of the research

1. Overall, the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province was at high level. When considering each aspect, it found that the teaching preparation with the Kalyanamitta-dhamma 7 (qualities of a good friend) was at the highest level. However, the measurement and evaluation with the Kalyanamitta-dhamma 7 was at the lowest level.

2. The comparison of the opinion of administrators and teachers towards the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province found that 1) the administrators and teachers having the different status had no the different opinion toward the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province at the 0.05 of statistical significance. Therefore, all hypotheses were denied. 2) The administrators and teachers having the different gender had no the different opinion toward the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province at the 0.05 of statistical significance. Therefore, all hypotheses were denied.

3. The suggestions for  the integration of the capacity of the moral teaching monks according to the Kalyanamitta at Secondary schools in Nakhon Sawan Province found that: 1) for the teaching preparation, the moral teaching monks should prepare the teaching systematically, and provide the activities integrating the new content, 2) for the teaching, the moral teaching monks should intend to teaching, apply the Buddhist content, morality and ethics in teaching, and provide the other instruments for the teaching to attract the students. 3) For the teaching media, the moral teaching monks should use the media and techniques in teaching to make the understanding in the Buddhist principles to the students. 4) For the classroom environment, the moral teaching monks should insert the activities and entertainment for the teaching and learning in the classroom to increase the intellectual skill and learning skill. 5) For the measurement and evaluation, the moral teaching monks should measure and evaluate with the process in the teaching plan, integrate the Buddhism and the curriculum, and plan the working systematically to decrease the problems in the working. The measurement and evaluation related to the teaching and learning system management.
