This thesis aimed at studying Buddhist tourism management in a case of WatYai, Bangplakod and studying the problem,obstacles and suggestion for its solution. The research was quantitative research and its tool used here was questionnaire. This researchsample was 322 tourists who had visited WatYai, Bangplakod.

 

The results were found that almost tourists who visited WatYai, Bangplakod were classified into 162 females(51.80%)and male 155(49.20%). Their ages were 21-30 years old (29.1%) and 31-40 years old(25.7%).They completed high school/high vocational certificate at 36.4% and their career were company officials and labors at 31.9%

 

The attitudes of touristsfor management revealed that in aspects of Buddhist arts they suggested that watYai is suitable place to be the learning center of local art and culture, relaxing and admirable place, preserving Buddhist art inside temple. In aspect of service, it totally was in high level(x̄= 4.10) in item that there are enough trash bins covering all area of temple. In aspect of convenience for tourists, it was in high level (x̄= 4.04) on Temple toilets are cleaned and good to be tourist temple with sufficient parking area.’ In aspect of useful learning center, it was in high level (x̄= 3.96). Finally, tourist commented that natural environment and cultural arts preserved in temple were suitable as a learning center.

 

 

For suggestion, the tourists agreed that the way to develop mind wisdom was to provide correct knowledge and principle for making merits and virtue and the way for happily living, that is the heedful mindful living. The gained profits for visiting the temple was satisfaction and happiness..
