Abstract
This thesis is of 3 objective namely : (1)) To study the history and The KuyhatthepanĪ MahaganthĪ , Wat Sung Men Edition, (2) To study the biography of Kruba Kanchana Maha Thera and the history of the Wat Sung Men. (3) To study of the principles and The knowledge that existing in KuyhatthepanĪ MahaganthĪ, Wat Sung Men Edition,
From The research, it is found that KuyhatthepanĪ was the Scripture without knowing who composed,KuyhatthepanĪ was preserved in Wat Vichoonrat Laung Pra-Bang City, Laos, Krubakanchana Maha Thera Aranya Wasi of Wat Sung Men Phrae Province. He Went to the copied this Scripture in the year 2379 B.E. (1836 B.C.) In Lanna Language. According to history, it is the found that Krubakanchana Maha Thera. He is the senior monks in the early Rattanakosin period. He has the ability both, burden of study and insight. He had the expertise in insight.The priest received the title form the ruler of Chiang Mai. That Krubakanchana Maha Thera Aranya Wasi, The Cantatura, He was expertise in the Dhamma and Vinaya. He invited monks in Chiang Mai checks payable Holy Scriptures. And to set up Sangayana to check the Scriptures to be correct. Later on the year 2371 B. E., the ruler of the Kosai city (Phrae). Invite him to be abbot of Wat Sung Men. He has returned and has brought various Palm Leaf Manuscripts collected to Wat Sung Men, Later on, Wat Sung Men became a place of Buddhist literature collecting as Palm Leaf Scripture of the country. And Wat Sung Men is a cultural study of Phrae.
The Kuyhattha DipanĪ Maha Ganthe inscription is a scripture that bring the principles described in the Vinaya Piṭaka scripture. and Samanta Pasadika Scripture, Visutthimagga, Such Council Sangayana India and Sri Lanka, the Dependent Origination, The four Noble Truths, History of Buddha The first Enlightenment , the preaching of Damma-Cakkappa Pattana Sutta etc.
