Abstract

 This Thesis was An Effectiveness of Service of Thai Traditional Medicine in Lamphun Hospital, Muang Lamphun  District,Lamphun Province, It was the qualitative research and has 3 the objectives were,  (1) to study the Thai Traditional Medicine in Lamphun Hospital, Muang Lamphun  District, Lamphun Province,  (2) to study the application of the  Brahmavihara-Dhamma Principles in Thai Traditional.  Medicine in Lamphun Hospital, Muang Lamphun  District,   Lamphun Province, (3) to study the efficiency of Thai Traditional Medicine in Lamphun Hospital, Muang Lamphun District, Lamphun Province. The researchers have collected data by In-depth Interview and Key Informants amount 18 people, classified by the monk amount 1 people, the executives and  personnel in the working group of primary service  amount 12people and 5 people were the service recipients

 

 

The results of research found that

    The Thai Traditional Medicine in Lamphun Hospital, Muang Lamphun  District, Lamphun Province has been  serving base on  the Thai holistic medicine, emphasized on the services of encouragement, prevention, treatment and health rehabilitation of the patient, including the herbal medicine medicament under the medical  standard services of Thai Traditional  Medicine, the network of Muang, lamphun District was included.  The efficiency of service was the economical operation, effectiveness, fast, high-quality, worthy for all aspects of manpower resources, finance, technology devices base on the standard of the profession,  in order to benefit society, profitable, in time, and satisfaction of providers and recipients services. By bringing the Brahmavihara-Dhamma Principles, namely Metta, Karuna, Muthita and Upekkha, It has been applied to the service providing. The result of research has discussed  in  the following issues:

1. The Aspect of Creation, to achieve maximum benefit in the use of resources based on Metta Principles, It was the desire in the use of resources on the highest benefits and need to use the fiscal budget for procurement with economically, worthily. Hence, the use of resources, the various of herbs that were found in the  local areas as raw materials of services.  The creation of   worthiness , It was occurring at each step in the service and rely on cooperation from all parties in the use of resources. Maintenance, repair and tools, devices improvement should be modern and could be used for good , as well as the development of human resources in complete health creation. The increasing of knowledge which will effected to the efficient operation increasingly caused by the Muditakamma subsequently.  If there was one person who did not see the essence in the use of resources. We needed to hold on the Upekkha Principles, you should have no angriness or complain, but should be used In the mercy for recommendations, to teach the understanding of the essence and benefits in the usage of resources. That affected to the organization and ourselves.

2. The Aspect of Services, emphasized on the strengthening of efficiency, provided the service with, kindness, desire that created a satisfaction to occur with service recipients, holding on the Karuna Principles, good service with heart by providing equal service  and no discrimination based on the Principle of Upekkha. To have the arrangement of the essence of service providing systematically. The problem analysis for service providing was being straight to requirements, high responsibility and willingness to serve as relatives and friends, including the qualified management , it should make  the service cover, equality and to patient occurrence a great feeling and it's going fast with the facility of Muditakamma, result in effect of satisfaction caused the efficiency service subsequently,

 

    3. The Aspect of Satisfaction, It was  as a result of good service providing, quality. The customer satisfaction would occur when they responded their own needs and originated as Muthita lead to the  mercy that desired to serve recipients, cause for happiness, satisfying which involved the system of good services providing have own forms, procedure, terms.  For high-quality service providing with efficiency, and satisfaction the  service providers needs, to recognize that as a major task and must be done with kindness and the Upekkha, the impression, satisfaction should occur on both providers and recipients, with a mind that ready for treatment would make the efficiency and enhancing the customer satisfaction increasingly.   

 

Therefore, the strengthening or efficiency development of service providing was the essential for high-quality services , could respond the needs of the recipients superbly.  The service providing needed to use the resources for achieving the most cost-effective. The resource management in a more efficient and to not waste resources by main justice and reason, rather than the main principles of serving that could be applied to provide for the best performance.

To manage resources to efficiently and not wasting resources unreasonable and the Brahmavihara-Dhamma Principles were the primary service that could be applied to the service for increasing  the efficiency optimally.
