ABSTRACT

This research on " Efficiency Of The Elderly  Pension  Management Of Thungthong Sub-District Administrative Organization Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province had 3 objectives : 1. to study the elders' opinions towards the efficiency of old-age pension management of Tunathong Sud-District Administrative Organization, Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province; 2. to  make comparative study  on the elders' opinions towards the efficiency of old-age pension management of Tungthong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Nangbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province classified by personal status; and 3. to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions of the elders concerning the efficiency of old-age pension management of Tung thong Sup-District Administrative Organization, Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province.

This study applied the Mixed Method Research consisting of  quantitative, survey and qualitative research. Data collecting was done by districbuting the questionnaire. Qalitative research, the In-Depth Interview with key informants was selected to collect the adta and  to  supplement  to the quantitative research. The sampling group used in this study consisted 304 elders by  people  who received the old-age pensions from Tungthong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan  Province which. The questionnaire was the check-list type with 5 levels of assessment which was open and ended questionnaire, The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and One Way ANOVA by mentioning the statistical significance at 0.05 level.

              The results of this study revealed as the following :

              1. The elderly’s opinions towards the efficiency of old-age pension management of Tungthong Sup-District Administrative Organization, Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province, showed  the  value in average at high level (=3.84). When considered each item, it was found that the following items were at the high levels: Planning, Organization Management, Direction, Coordination and Controlling.

              2. The comparative study on the elderly’s opinions towards the efficiency of old-age pension management of Tungthong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province classified by personal status, disclosed that people of different sexes, ages, careers and experiences on this service took no different opinion.So the hypothesis was denied.

              3. The results of the study and analysis concerning the problems, obstacles and suggestion on the elderly’s towards the efficiency of old-age pension management of Tungthong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Nongbua District, Nakhon Sawan Province, showed   that the elderly’s needed to receive the service and some help from the staffs more  devotively.The  staff should follow-up to keep in touch with the elderly’s regularly, including  visiting them  at  home. The service counter elderly’s should be moved from the second floor to the first floor for the convenience  old  people, the process of performing the jobs should be improved  to  be more promptly  to  be one stop service .
